MISSION:
The Mission of Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation is to serve the unmet needs of abused, neglected and/or abandoned youth up to age 21 who are or have been in the care of the Court and to support the work of the CASA program and the CASA volunteers.
AGENCY SELF-DESCRIPTION:
Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation has a number of programs that directly support youths who are wards of the Court. One of the largest of these is our Clothing Supplement Program, which provides annual clothing gift cards for all children in care, as well as emergency clothing cards for children who are removed from their homes with no clothing except what they are wearing. Another large program is our Grants for Kids, which provides money for necessary items or services that are not covered by State funding.
CASA for Kids Foundation also maintains a Family Visiting Center for biological parents to enjoy supervised visits with their children while working toward reunification.
Other services include a confidential Adoption Exchange Mailbox, Gift Cards for birthdays and other celebrations, and Christmas Gifts for all children in the care of the Courts.
