YAVAPAI ASPERGER SUPPORT GROUP

AGENCY SELF-DESCRIPTION:   YASG was started by two mothers of young persons with Asperger Syndrome. Over several years we have added many persons who have attended our meetings and we developed a website and brought many speakers and resources to the Prescott VA Campus where our meetings are held. The group is facilitated by David Fero, Ph.D., psychologist and retired Service Line Manager for Mental Health at the Northern AZ VA Healthcare System and the father of a daughter with special needs. We meet the first Wednesday of each month from 6-8 pm.  We meet in Room 107, Mental Health Building 155 at the Prescott VA Medical Center near the junction of SR 89 and 69. You enter the VA grounds and take your first right and proceed to the 4 way stop and turn left and a quick left into the parking lot. As you enter the parking lot, the building is on your right. Enter the building on the ground floor and take the elevator to the 1st floor, turn left off the elevator and left down the hall to the last room on the left, room 107. We start our meeting with a potluck. If you can, bring a dish to share or a drink such as crystal light,  but if you can’t bring anything, come anyway as we always have had enough for everyone. See our website for map and for more information.
