STEPPING STONES AGENCIES

Since 1980, Stepping Stones has provided 24/7/365 emergency shelter and other services for women and children wanting to live free from all forms of abuse and victimization in West Yavapai County, Arizona. Whether you need immediate shelter or just want to talk to someone about your situation, caring advocates are available, day and night. Our skilled and knowledgeable advocates provide phone support, face-to-face therapeutic advocacy, group educational support groups, safety planning and individualized services for both women and children. Best of all, women and children do not have to be living in our safe housing to receive these services.   AGENCY SELF-DESCRIPTION: 24/7/365 SHELTER: We provide meals and daily essentials to women and their children while in our shelter. Upon completion of 96-hour emergency shelter assessment and intake, a woman and her children may be able to stay up to 120 days. ADVOCACY: One-to-one and group educational and support programs, safety planning, legal and justice advocacy for women and children. Women not living at Stepping Stones may be able to attend educational programs and the advocacy services above. 24/7/365 HOTLINE: 24-hour support line for women seeking help from a victimizing or dangerous situation or for information and referrals in West Yavapai County: (928) 445-HOPE.
