CASA OF YAVAPAI COUNTY
Located in the Juvenile Justice Center on Prescott Lakes Parkway in Prescott and in the Camp Verde Courthouse on Commonwealth Drive in Camp Verde, the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program recruits and trains volunteers to work with children involved in the dependency process and are wards of the court. A CASA volunteer enhances the quality of services provided to these children and helps to ensure that progress is being made toward acheieving a safe and permanent home, as quickly as possible, with the least amount of trauma for each child involved. If you are working with or caring for a dependent (foster) child that you believe would benefit from having a CASA, please contact our office. If you are interested in participating in some of the monthly trainings our office provides, please go to our website and read our monthly newsletter to see what trainings are coming up. Last, if you would like to find out more about becoming a CASA volunteer, please contact us by phone, email or through our website.
