AGENCY SELF-DESCRIPTION:

Community Resources: Cornucopia identifies emergent community needs through conducting studies that describe the need, such as child hunger in Yavapai County. Cornucopia then collaborates with other organizations to create community action plans for creating resources that address the community need. In addition, Cornucopia accepts charitable community service groups as affiliates that benefit from Cornucopia's 501c3 nonprofit status.

Multiple Internet Services: Yavapai County Community Platform website platform includes an online community resource directory, resource maps, public listings for jobs, volunteers, goods and services.

Emergency Financial Aid: Families and individuals can apply for Cornucopia emergency aid through social service agencies, including Catholic Charities, St. Vincent de Paul, Salvation Army, NACOG Community Services, hospitals, etc.

MISSION:

Provide support to the families, students, parents, community and staff members as a safe haven where people can get whatever assistance or referrals that they need. Identify, coordinate, and provide assistance and support for the students who comprise our “homeless” population.
