MISSION: The House of Ruth Pregnancy Care Center is a Christian ministry dedicated to serving pregnant women and to protecting the lives of unborn children. Our goal is to demonstrate the love of Christ by assisting with emotional, spiritual, and physical needs, enabling women to make healthy, life-affirming choices throughout pregnancy, delivery and beyond.

NORTHERN ARIZONA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS (NACOG) HEAD START

AGENCY SELF-DESCRIPTION:

Head Start, a federally funded program, serves children zero to five years of age. NACOG Head Start programs use a comprehensive approach to meet the needs of enrolled children and their families. The programs work with families to address the education, health, dental, and nutrition needs of young children and provide many opportunities for parents to become engaged and to empower their own growth and development.

PRESCOTT AREA SHELTER SERVICES (PASS)

Title

To serve women, children, and veterans by providing temporary housing, resources, individualized case management, and a pathway to permanent housing.

MISSION: The mission of Raising Special Kids is to improve the lives of children with disabilities by providing families with parent to parent support, training, information and individual assistance.

REACH OUT AND READ ARIZONA- Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics

AGENCY SELF-DESCRIPTION: The Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AzAAP) is committed to improving the health of Arizona children and supporting the pediatric professionals who care for them. Our priority priority areas are Poverty & Child Health, Early Brain & Child Development and Quality of Care & Child Safety. Reach Out and Read (ROR) falls under our Early Literacy initiative under the Early Brain & Child Development priority. ROR prepares America’s youngest children to succeed in school by partnering with doctors to prescribe books and encourage families to read together.

SOUTHWEST HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

MISSION: Southwest Human Development is Arizona's largest nonprofit dedicated to early childhood development providing services that help families with young children ages birth through five. Our programs are designed to for a child's earliest years because we know that those early experiences have the greates impact on their future learning, behavior and health. We are work in five key areas: Child Development and Mental Health, Easterseals Disabilities Services, Early Literacy and Head Start, Child Welfare, and Professional Education.
