YAVAPAI REENTRY PROJECT, COMMUNITY COUNTS

MISSION:

Yavapai Reentry Project is a regional support system which promotes successful reintegration of former inmates in a way that improves community safety by reducing criminal behavior.

AGENCY DESCRIPTION:

The Yavapai Reentry Project aids reentering individuals and those with felony records in resource information and referrals  through the main office of the Yavapai Reentry Project. This includes resources to find:

●      Housing

●      Employment and job skill trainings

●      Medical and health information

●      Access to Veterans services (if applicable)

●      Education resources

●      Substance abuse counseling

●      Connections with religious communities

Each participant has the opportunity to choose to be enrolled in the Community Coach Mentorship Program or work independently and use the office as a resource in our Independent Referral Program.

This is a volunteer based program where a returning inmate will be linked with a volunteer in the community who has been trained to aid in referrals, emotional support, and resource information. Our vision: All inmates returning to Yavapai County will have community support, restored families, and hope for their future.
