YAVAPAI FOOD COUNCIL

MISSION:

To support those who feed the hungry.

AGENCY SELF-DESCRIPTION:

Community Resources: The Yavapai Food Council seeks volunteer neighborhood coordinators and food donors for its Yavapai Food Neighbors program. Neighborhood coordinators in each community ask their friends and neighbors to participate by filling a bright green reusable grocery bag every two months, when community food collection events are held in major shopping market parking lots.

The Food Council donates free food to Local food banks and pantries, hot meals programs, senior centers, residential and youth meal programs, keeping their shelves stocked year-round.

Multiple Internet Services: Interested persons can sign up as neighborhood coordinators and food donors at: www.yavapaifoodcouncil.org.
