MISSION:

Through a spirit of Christian justice and charity, we help those who are suffering, by personal volunteer involvement in teams of two. Prescott area clients will be visited in their homes or in our office.

AGENCY SELF-DESCRIPTION:

Prescott area clients will be visited in their homes or in our office. They will need identification and will be requested to fill out a one-page application form. Each case is evaluated on an individual basis. Appointments are strongly encouraged, as schedules often fill up 2-3 days in advance. After evaluation, essential clothing and furniture may be provided via a voucher for our Thrift Store. A home visit is required for any request to help with utilities or rent and landlord will need to be contacted for rent help. Based upon need, we can provide nonperishable food items, as well as frozen bread, meat, cheese and entrees when available. We may be able to help pay for prescriptions not covered by AHCCCS. Tents, sleeping bags or emergency shelter requests will be evaluated by the team to determine if we are able to help. Partial bus fare may be provided if we can call and verify job or place to stay.
