NORTHERN ARIZONA RESTORATIVE JUSTICE

MISSION:

We serve in partnership with city, county and state agencies, including schools and other non-profit organizations to provide restorative justice principles and practices to communities, their members, both adults and juveniles involved  or impacted by conflict or crime.  

AGENCY SELF-DESCRIPTION:

We accomplish this mission by working with individuals, their victims and families as well as community representatives to identify and repair the harm done by the individual, with a focus on righting and strengthening relationships that have been damaged through harmful actions. These processes preserve the respect and safety of all involved. 

This nonprofit agency is staffed by highly trained and caring community members who serve as facilitators in circles bringing the juvenile offenders and their parents, together with the victims of the crime committed. Emphasis is placed on education, being non-judgmental and repairing the harm to all involved.
