MISSION:

 

A nonprofit providing quality recovery services to adults with mental, co-occurring and substance use disorders. Our mission is to provide mental health consumer-operated support, education, and training services to mental health consumers in northern Arizona. NAZCARE, Inc. supportive housing provides safe, affordable, and well-maintained housing facilities that encourage and support recovery programs, services and personal development.

 

AGENCY SELF-DESCRIPTION:

 

As a nonprofit corporation, NAZCARE, Inc., serves people with serious mental illness throughout northern Arizona. We have recovery centers located in Prescott, Flagstaff, Bullhead City, Kingman, Show Low, Eager and Cottonwood. NAZCARE incorporated in 2002 as a private, nonprofit agency. Consumer-operated services are fast becoming a cost-effective way to assist persons with serious mental illness to recover and to return to productive, satisfying lives through peer support. Peer support does not replace professional services, but provides additional support outside traditional mental health agencies. NAZCARE, Inc. is the only consumer-operated agency in northern Arizona.
