MISSION: To provide a safe therapeutic equine experience by credentialed instructors for people with disabilities that fosters their confidence and dignity while chalalenging each rider to devleop independent skills at their own level of abili AGENCY SELF-DESCRIPTION: Horses with Heart, in 2017 celebrates it's 25th year of service to Yavapai County. HwH provides EAAT, Equine assisted Activies and Therapies to people from 4-84 with special needs plus seniors and veterans. HwH is a member of PATH, Intl. (Professional Association for Therapeutic Horsemanship) and adheres to their stringent rules, regulations and training/certifications of instructors. Programs include Special Olympics, Happy Hearts Rodeo, Silver Saddle, Jr. Master Horseman Volunteers, Heroes & Horses, therapeutic/recreational horemanship, day-camps, mental health programs, Visually Impaired Youth Programs, Special Touch Summer Getaway Program and more.
